What it is

Private gatherings for the people who run Singapore’s renovation businesses.

Every few months we get a group together. Interior design firm owners, material suppliers, carpentry workshops and main contractors, all in one room.

Nobody presents anything and nobody wears a name badge. It’s food, drinks and a few hours with people who do what you do. The evening is on us.

Who is in the room

Owners and principals only.

The people who decide things, rather than the people sent along in their place. Everyone there runs a business in this industry.

We keep the numbers down deliberately, small enough that you end up actually speaking to everybody instead of working a room and remembering nobody.

What comes out of it

Three things the room is for.

01

Homeowner projects, referred in

This is the one worth turning up for.

Suppliers, builders and architects all meet homeowners before you do. Somebody buying stone for a landed property, or an architect halfway through drawings, is sitting on a project that needs an interior designer and hasn’t chosen one yet.

When that comes up and you’re the firm they remember, the project comes to you. No ad spend, no lead form, no competing against four other quotes.

02

Social media collaboration

An audience you didn’t pay to reach.

Collab posts with the other businesses in the room, and with both of Network’s own accounts — the trade feed and the homeowner platform.

A supplier posts the project, you’re tagged on it, and your work lands in front of people you never paid to reach. It costs both of you nothing and it works better than either of you posting alone.

03

The session itself

Owners, not marketing staff.

The gathering itself. Owners and principals rather than marketing staff, kept small enough that you speak to everyone rather than collecting cards from a queue.
