Privacy Policy
Effective date: 27/10/2026
1. Who we are
Behind Network (www.behindnetworksg.com) is the trade arm of Network Media Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202421254M), 10 Marina Boulevard, #39-01 Marina Bay Financial Centre, Singapore 018983 ("we", "us"). We also run Network Singapore (www.networksg.net), which has its own privacy policy for homeowners. This policy covers the personal data we collect through this website. We handle it in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
2. What we collect
- Enquiry form ("Apply to the programme"). Your firm's name, your name, WhatsApp number, email address, type of business and the services you are interested in. If you choose to give them, also your firm's Instagram handle and what isn't working for you right now.
- Careers form. The role you are applying for, your name, email, WhatsApp number, the country you are based in, and a link to your portfolio or showreel. If you apply for the Sales Rep role, we ask what you want to achieve in the role (10 to 1,000 characters) instead of a portfolio link. We do not ask for a CV upload. We keep notes from our review of your application.
- Events form. Your name, company, what your company does, whether you are an owner or principal, WhatsApp number and email. We also record the web page that sent you to us and any campaign tags in the link (for example
utm_source), so we know which posts work. We keep notes such as whether you were invited and attended. - If a form fails to send, the details you typed are passed to our team's Slack so that we can still reply to you.
- Site analytics: see section 9.
3. Why we use it
- Enquiries: to reply to you, to look at your firm (and your Instagram, if you gave it) before we talk, to message you on WhatsApp or email about our programmes, and, if you become a client, to run our work with you.
- Applications: to review your portfolio (or, for the Sales Rep role, your answer on what you want to achieve in the role), to contact you about the role and any test task, and to check the role's location requirement. Your test-task sample is used for evaluation only.
- Events: to decide on invitations, to invite you individually, and to keep track of who was invited and who attended.
- The website itself: to keep it working and to understand how people use it (section 9).
We will not add you to a newsletter or broadcast list, and we do not send automated message blasts.
4. Your consent, and withdrawing it
By sending a form, you agree to us collecting, using and sharing your details as this policy describes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (section 11). We will act on your request within a reasonable time, typically within ten (10) business days. If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to consider your enquiry, application or event request, and we will tell you if so.
5. Who we share it with
Only our own staff who need it, and these service providers, who handle it for us:
- Vercel: hosts this website and counts visits.
- Supabase: stores form submissions, on servers in Sydney, Australia.
- Zapier: passes new submissions to Slack, email and Google Sheets.
- Slack: notifies our sales and marketing teams.
- Google (Google Workspace): our email (Gmail) and spreadsheets (Google Sheets). Google Fonts also supplies this site's typefaces.
- PostHog: analytics on visits to our events page and on how our forms are used (no names or contact details), in the United States.
- WhatsApp (Meta): when we message you there.
- Anthropic: our AI assistant (Claude), which our team uses to help read and organise our records, in the United States.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not give it to other companies for their own marketing. We may disclose it where the law requires us to.
6. Transfers outside Singapore
Some of these providers store or process data outside Singapore, including in Australia and the United States. When your data leaves Singapore, we take steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA, through each provider's data-protection terms.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. Then we delete it or make it anonymous.
- Enquiries that do not lead to working together: 24 months from our last contact.
- Clients: while we work together, plus 5 years. Invoices and contracts are kept for as long as Singapore law requires.
- Job applications that are not successful: 12 months from our decision. If you join us, your application becomes part of your staff record.
- Event requests: 24 months from the last event you were invited to or asked about.
- Alerts about a form that failed to send: deleted once your details have been recovered.
8. How we protect it
The website sends your details over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Our database accepts new submissions from the website, but they cannot be read back through it. Only staff who need your details can see them. If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, we will tell you and the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC), as the PDPA requires.
9. Cookies and analytics
Our own code sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. We measure how the site is used in two ways:
- Vercel Web Analytics (home page only) records page views, the site that referred you, your approximate location, and your device and browser type, and any campaign tags in the link.
- PostHog records each visit to our events page, as well as steps through our forms, such as "form opened" and "step completed", and the options you pick (for example your type of business). It uses a random ID that lasts only while the page is open, and it never receives your name, contact details or anything you type. It receives your IP address with each event and uses it to estimate your approximate location (down to the city), but does not store the address with the event.
This site's fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details.
10. Seeing and correcting your data
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you and how it has been used or disclosed. You can also ask us to correct it. We will reply within thirty (30) days where reasonably practicable. You can also ask us to delete your data, and we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
11. Contact our Data Protection Officer
Data Protection Officer, Network Media Pte. Ltd., Jacob Chow
Email: customersupport@
Post: 10 Marina Boulevard, #39-01 Marina Bay Financial Centre, Singapore 018983
We will acknowledge your request and aim to reply within thirty (30) days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with its effective date at the top. If a change affects how we use details you have already given us, we will tell you.
